Animalism

I'm quoting another prominent blogger, who wrote the following regarding the (im)pending execution of Martin Grossman.
Anyone who reads an account of the grisly murder and does not want to ‘pull the switch’ themselves (or in this case inject the needle) is not human.
Anyone who want to kill anyone else, for any reason, is not human.

what would you say about a goel HaDam in the time that that halkha applied according to the mahn D'omar mitzva b'yad goel haDam u'rshus b'yad kol ohdom?

How about Pinchas as he ran through Zimri and Kozbee, was he an animal? Or do you suppose he was doing something that he "hated" doing because even though it was a dirty job someone had to do it?

How about Yehoshua's warriors weakening Amalek?

Bray,

Nice example cases. But read what I wrote again. I said someone who wants to kill is not human.

They (Pinchas for ex.) would much rather not kill.
